On Saturday December 10, 2011 Dr. Hardman was asked to conduct a women's vessel of honor meeting at the Holiday Inn in Opelika Alabama by Pamela Hill.  There was such an explosive move of God, that He was invited back on Thursday January 19, 2012 to teach at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn Alabama.  We had another awesome visitation of the Holy Spirit.  In attendance was Mrs. Rose Gunn who was moved by the Spirit to offer her restaurant as a place of meeting for a Bible Study on a more consistent basis.  God continued to grow the Bible Study and we had to move to another location to hold the people God was sending.

We then acquired rental of the Conference room at the Best Western in Opelika Alabama. God continued to bless us as the Word of God was taught and had our first Sunday service on March 25, 2012 at the Microtel Inn in Opelika Alabama. From there we moved to Harris Funeral Home in Opelika. This was a temporary location. We needed a more consistent place to worship because the Lord was moving us have service every Sunday.

The Lord opened a door for us to worship at the Quality Inn on Columbus Parkway in Opelika.  On July 15, 2012 Mount of Transfiguration launched services to be held each Sunday at the Quality Inn location.  The Blessings and favor of the Lord continued to flow.  Within a month, we acquired the former location of the Community Baptist Church at 109 N 116th street in Opelika Alabama.

This acquisition now allowed Mount of Transfiguration to have a church campus in which to have worship service at a consistent location.  In moving forward, we are enthusiastic about the future God has for Mount of Transfiguration through growth, faith and the Word of God with Vision.
